Tax Acknowledgements
All eGifts receive a tax acknowledgement by email from panmass@pmc.org. Gifts of $250 or more made by check receive a tax acknowledgement from the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge. Sponsor’s names and addresses are obtained from checks or the information you enter while posting an eGift. If your check does not identify an address, you must write one in the upper left corner, or you will not receive a tax acknowledgement.
According to the IRS, a copy of the cancelled check suffices as proof of donation for gifts under $250. If your gift is below $250 and you would like a tax acknowledgement letter, please email alison@pmc.org.

Honor/Memory Acknowledgements
If you would like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of a person or an occasion the PMC will send an acknowledgement for you.
Online through our eGift site: Check off the "Is this gift a tribute" box below the credit card information and fill in the Tribute Information.
Check: Include a note with the name and address of the person/occasion the gift is honoring. For memory acknowledgements include the name of the person the gift is in memory of and the name and address of the notified party. Include the rider's name if your gift is sponsoring a rider.
