Rick Luppy's Ride

Why I Ride ...

In 1984, I was on a little bike ride and I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt that had the letters "PMC" on it.  I didn't know what "PMC" stood for, so I asked. In no uncertain terms, I was told that the PMC was "the best bike ride ever."  He went on to say that "if you only do one bike ride all summer long, make it the PMC."  I was sold.

The next day, I signed-up for the 1984 PMC, my first. And as they say, "the rest is history."

The 2014 ride will be my 31st.  Needless to say, the PMC has been a big part of my life.  I'm proud to be involved with such a great event, and a wonderful organization.

Thank you for your continued support.
