When I was 3 years old, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. After treatment and follow up at Childrens Hospital, Boston and Dana-Farber's David B. Perini Clinic, part of the Jimmy Fund Clinic's umbrella of care, I am a healthy 17 year old. After participating in the 2004 Medfield Kids Ride (the first PMC kids ride) I co-founded the PMC Shrewsbury-Boylston Kids Ride in 2009 with my sister and my friend Jake and his sister. In 2011, I rode the PMC Teen Ride (part of the adult PMC program) for 50 miles. Now, I ride the full two day ride to Provincetown, MA, almost 200 miles! I am very excited and glad I can raise money to help find cures and care for kids with cancer. 100% of your donation goes to the Jimmy Fund - all of it! Not one penny is used to run this event, and I have asked that half go specifically to support Dr. Wolfram Goessling's stem cell research (http://www.fishing4stemcells.org/wolfram) and the other half to the Perini Clinic, which helps survivors of childhood cancer. That's where I go and they are amazing!
Would you please help me KICK CANCER hard this year?
Last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to the Jimmy Fund.
