Charles Steedman's Ride

Why I Ride ...

I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because I am flat out sick of the impact cancer has had and continues ot have on all of our lives. I lost both of my parents to cancer in 2002 and since then my life has been touched by many who also have suffered, The good  news is, significant progress is being made every day. The bad news is, we're still losing family and friends at an alarming rate. I lost two good friends within 10 days recently. Enough is enough.

I am especially proud that 100% of all rider-generated contributions to riders go directly to support research and patient care at the Dana Faber Cancer Institute in Boston. This great facility is at the forefront of research and treatment and continue to lead the fight towards prevention and cure.

2015 is my 13th consecutive year riding ... That's a feat I am incredibly proud of. I will never forget making the promise to myself way back in 2003 that I would ride at least 20 consecutive PMC's ... I'm even more proud of the hundreds of thousands of dollars you have donated on my behalf!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
