James Sareault's Ride

Why I Ride ...

In Memory of Paul "Bud" Thomas

I am participating in the 2014 Pan Mass Challenge in loving memory of my Uncle Bud Thomas, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 24th, 2010. I started riding the PMC the next summer, and raised just over $1000 for cancer research. In both 2012 and 2013, I raised about $1500. I'm hoping to top that this year by personally raising $2000 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber with my ride. Every little donation helps.
For the fourth straight year, I will be volunteering at the Mass Maritime stop on Saturday, and then riding the 84 miles from Bourne to Wellesley on Sunday.

I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
