Nicholas Horbaczewski's Ride

Why I Ride ...

Dear Friends and Family,

This August I will be riding the Pan-Mass Challenge, a two-day, 160-mile bike ride from Wellesley to Provincetown to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for cancer research and treatment. Each year over 5,000 riders complete the ride and raise at least $4,200 each. Last year the event raised over $35 million dollars and in the three decades since the ride began, it’s raised well over $300 million. The ride is funded by riders’ entry fees and the support of corporate sponsors, so 100% of all money raised goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The community of PMC riders is composed of cancer survivors and those riding in memory of or in honor of someone who has battled cancer. I am riding because my own family has been touched by this disease, I know first hand how devastating a cancer diagnosis can be and how critical the work of premier research and treatment facilities like Dan-Farber are to improving treatments options and detection methods.

I am asking for your help to reach my fundraising goal. I am incredibly grateful for any amount you can spare, large or small. To donate online, please click the “donate to my ride” button below.

Thank you for your support.
