Why I Ride ...
I am a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the campaign to beat cancer. In fact, last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s tireless commitment to finding a cure.
2013 will be my fourth time riding in the PMC. Once again I will be riding 191 miles, in memory of my wife Sandy,who on July 23, 2011 passed away from complications from pneumonia. Six years ago Sandy was diagnosed with Leukemia thus starting our journey. Sandy received a stem cell transplant from her sister, Terry. Our family will always be grateful for her wonderful gift of life. Thanks to Dr. Corey Cutler and the incredible staff at Dana Farber, Sandy was able to enjoy some very special moments over the past four plus years with her family and friends.

The incredible pride and passion I experience, from all those involved with the PMC event, is very powerful and life changing.
Far too many of our families, friends, and neighbors have been stricken with this dreaded disease. So it's in their honor and memory, that I will ride once again. It's a way our family can give back, in the hopes, what we do today will help someone tomorrow.
