Sean Saganey's Ride

Why I Ride ...

Patti: breast cancer, Dad: multiple myeloma, Cindy: cervical cancer, Jimmy L: esophagus cancer, Pat S: pancreatic cancer, Jeff B: skin cancer, Mary C: breast cancer, Mark: prostate cancer, Ralph; skin cancer, Jeff; throat cancer, Julie; multiple myeloma

These are just a few people I know that had or have cancer.   The list seems to get longer so my efforts to raise money for the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund becomes more important.  This will be my 12th year participating in the Pan Mass Challenge.  I’ve really come to love the ride.  It gives me two days to reflect on how lucky I have been and how fortunate my family is to live near one of the world’s best cancer hospitals.  The PMC allows me to participate in trying to find a cure for a disease that affects everyone one way or another.  And it is still my belief that all funds from these events will one day find a cure.

I'm riding with Team Xaverian, which funnels the donations to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Outcome Clinic at Dana Farber. I will be riding from Sturbridge Mass to P-Town, about 200 miles.

TO DONATE, CLICK HERE:  and select "Donate to My Ride” or you can mail me a donation at 7 Quarry Lane, North Easton, Ma 02356.

If you can't contribute, please think about riding or volunteering, it's a great event!

Thanks once again for your support over the past years.  Sean
