Our family is a circle of love and strength. With every union, the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love.
Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger.
Making cancer our bitch.
Ourteam started with Beth Peucker and I sitting around the dinner table with our Dad's only few days after I had registered to ride for the 2012 PMC. Beth thought that maybe it would be a good goal for her for the summer and a way for us to honor my mother Nancy A. Marchisio who past away in 2010 from cervical cancer and our aunt Maura Scanlon-McRae who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1995. But after the passing of my father Richard S. Marchisio Jr. only a few short weeks later, Beth knew she wasn't letting me ride alone. There's no better way to marry two causes together; finding a cure to cancer, and continuing the passion of riding my Dad passed to us.
Our team has now grown to something much greater than just a two girl effort, and we couldn't be more proud to ride with our best friends and family. We know that we have a very large fundraising effort to reach, but we know with the help of those around us, we can achieve anything.
We ride with those we have lost in our hearts. We are inspired by the battles being fought. We ride for the future of Our Circle of Strength and yours.
