| Wellesley to Foxboro |
This is the first half of the route Wellesley to Wellesley loop and accommodates riders who can only ride on Sunday or those looking for a shorter ride. The ride starts with, what seems like a 15 mile descent following the classic Wellesley to Bourne route. Then the route heads east through Walpole and on to our newest finish line and water stop at Patriot Place, the gateway to Gillette Stadium. This site also serves as a water stop for all cyclists returning from Bourne to Wellesley.
This ride begins at 7:30 am and depending on pace and rest times, can last from 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours. Most riders will reach Patriot Place by 9:00 am.
Fundraising minimum is $1,000. Teen riders aged 13 to 17 can ride the Sunday 27 mile route and raise only $500 to be a part of PMC.
When registering for this route, select Wellesley to Sharon (the old route name). New route maps will be released in late spring 2012.
